A vented fuel cap in the tall triple baffle style, 2-1/2 inches tall with a 2-7/8 inch outside diameter, fitting a filler neck of 1-7/8 inches inside diameter. It goes on bayonet fashion with two locking tangs rather than threading on.

Vented is the point. These tanks are designed to breathe through the cap, and running a sealed cap on one lets pressure build as the fuel warms through the day.

Two things worth checking before ordering. First, height. There is a short cap, about 5/8 inch tall, that fits the small Farmall tractors and carries some of the same cross reference numbers as this one. This is the tall cap. If you are working on an A, B, C, H, M or Cub, you want the short one instead. Second, if your tractor is an 1086, 1486 or 1586, look at what is on it now. Those models are also cataloged with a non vented cap under number 104781C1, and the two do not interchange.
