Was tickled pink to find that the only problem with my tachometer/speedometer/hourmeter was that the original cable was disconnected and the fitting on the end had corroded from years of just being exposed to the elements. When I got to doing some research online and found that Reliable made new parts available i was really pleased. I carefully studied the photos to make sure it was what I needed. My original cable was about 53 inches and this new one was a bit longer but it allowed the connections to be made without any tight bends and could easily be routed to each end..
After connecting and starting up I found it to work perfectly! Am really pleased and Reliable says for a Diesel engine tractor but mine is the IH284 with the gas engine and it works perfectly. Now they are my go to souce when I'm hunting parts!
