This blade pivot socket (also called a blade swivel ball socket) mounts into the dozer blade frame to house and support the blade pivot ball, enabling rotational articulation of the dozer blade under load. It is a critical component of the blade linkage system on Fits John Deere 700-series crawler dozers. When servicing this part, it is recommended to inspect and replace the mating pivot ball (T179350), shim (T177209), and socket bolt (19M8639) at the same time.
