This aftermarket replacement starter motor Fits John Deere (Fits JD) diesel-powered lawn tractors and front mowers equipped with Yanmar engines. The PMGR-type starter delivers reliable cranking for the Yanmar 18HP and 20.5HP diesel engines found in these machines. It mounts directly to the engine block via two M10-1.5 threaded holes and engages the ring gear through an 11-tooth pinion.
