This 12V aftermarket replacement starter solenoid serves as the electromagnetic switch that connects battery current to the starter motor when the ignition is turned. It is a single-pole, chassis-ground solenoid compatible with a wide range of Simplicity, Ariens, Snapper, Husqvarna, Toro, Troy-Bilt, MTD, Murray, AYP, Bad Boy, Bolens, Wright, and Hustler riding mowers, lawn tractors, zero-turn mowers, and commercial walk-behind mowers powered by Briggs & Stratton engines.
