One New Aftermarket Replacement 42-Inch Mulch Plate Kit for Craftsman, Husqvarna, AYP, and Poulan Lawn Tractors
This aftermarket replacement 42-inch mulch plate kit covers the discharge chute opening on your mower deck, converting your riding lawn tractor into a mulching mower. The mulch plate blocks clippings from escaping the deck so they are finely cut and returned to the lawn as natural fertilizer, reducing the need to rake. Kit includes one mulch cover plate plus mounting hardware (latch hooks, weld nuts, and lock washers). Fits most Craftsman, Husqvarna, AYP, and Poulan riding mowers and lawn tractors with 42-inch stamped steel decks. Fits most 917-series model numbers. Note: Does NOT fit models beginning with 247, or MTD-manufactured Craftsman riders.
