WHAT THIS BELT IS
This is the self propel wheel drive (traction) belt. On these 21 in walk behind mowers the blade bolts directly to the engine crankshaft, so there is no separate blade belt. This belt drives the wheels.
MEASURE FIRST, THE 34 IN LOOK ALIKE
The same JA62 and JX75 mowers also use a shorter drive belt, M77167, at 3/8 in by 34 in. It fits the same style pulleys but is 4 in shorter. This listing is the 38 in GX21552 belt. Match the length of your old belt before ordering.
Fits John Deere:
JA62 and JX75 (the OEM fitment for GX21552).
Self propelled JS20, JS25, JS30, JS35, JS40 and JS45 (same 3/8 in by 38 in belt; the OEM number for the JS traction belt is GX22269).
