This aftermarket replacement screw drive carriage (trolley) fits a wide range of Genie AC and DC screw drive garage door openers. The carriage contains internal teeth that engage the rotating screw inside the rail to move the door up and down. If your Genie opener motor runs and the screw turns but the door does not move - or you hear grinding or chattering - a worn carriage is the likely cause.
