One New Aftermarket Replacement Ballast Resistor Fits Ford (Fits Ford/New Holland) N-Series Tractors
This ignition ballast resistor installs in the wire between the ignition switch and the coil on Fits Ford N-Series tractors that have been converted from 6-volt to 12-volt electrical systems. It reduces voltage to protect the original 6-volt ignition coil and points from damage caused by excess voltage. Important: This resistor Fits Ford 8N tractors with a front-mount distributor only (serial numbers up to 263843). All 2N and 9N models are compatible. Resistor only -- no mounting block included.
