This taperlock exhaust manifold stud secures the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head on Fits Caterpillar (Fits CAT) 3400 Series and related engines. The taperlock design locks firmly into the casting bore to resist loosening under high heat and vibration cycles. Made from high-temperature steel rated to 500 degrees C maximum.
