This aftermarket replacement exhaust rain cap assembly mounts to the top of the exhaust pipe on Fits Caterpillar (Fits CAT) equipment powered by the 3116 engine. The cap seats over the exhaust outlet and opens under exhaust pressure while the engine is running, then closes when the engine is off to prevent rain, debris, and moisture from entering the exhaust system -- protecting against rust, corrosion, and internal damage during storage or downtime.
