This listing includes two (2) aftermarket replacement deck engagement (PTO) cables for MTD, Fits Cub Cadet (Fits Cub), and Troy-Bilt riding lawn mowers and lawn tractors. The deck engagement cable connects the operator control lever to the blade engagement mechanism, allowing the operator to engage and disengage the cutting deck. Over time these cables can fray, stretch, or break, preventing proper blade engagement. Replacing them restores full cutting deck operation.
