One New Aftermarket Replacement Alternator Conversion Bracket Kit and Belt Fits International Harvester (IH) and Fits FARMALL Tractors
This alternator conversion bracket kit with belt allows you to upgrade your Fits FARMALL or Fits International Harvester (IH) tractor from a 6-volt positive ground generator system to a 12-volt negative ground alternator system. The kit replaces the original generator mounting brackets and includes all hardware needed to mount a modern alternator under the hood without cutting or modifying the hood. Includes the alternator bracket kit and drive belt sized for H and HV models. This is a bracket-and-belt kit only -- the alternator itself is sold separately.
Important Fitment Notes
Fits FARMALL H and W4 (gas and LP): Fits serial number 125250 and up. Earlier serial numbers require modification of the top radiator brace for alternator clearance.
Fits FARMALL W4 (gas and LP): Fits serial number 5864 and up.
The included belt fits H and HV models only -- it will not work for 300 and 350 models. Verify compatibility before ordering.
Designed for gas and LP fuel configurations. Not confirmed for diesel variants.
