What This Is
This is one new aftermarket water pump assembly for the Ford N-Series tractors, supplied complete with the single V-groove drive pulley and the mounting gasket. It circulates coolant through the engine's cooling system and is a common replacement when the original pump leaks, seizes, or weeps at the weep hole. It is a quality aftermarket part and is not manufactured by Ford. It is new, not a rebuilt unit.
Fitment
This pump fits the Ford 2N, 8N, and 9N tractors built from 1939 through 1952, all of which use the 119.7 cubic inch four-cylinder flathead engine. It is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory water pump on these models.
Pulley, Gasket, and Hub
The pump arrives with the single V-groove pulley and the pump gasket. The fan-mount hub may be either round or square depending on the production run of the pump you receive, and both styles fit the same application, so the hub shape does not change fitment. Please note that the original fan mounting bolts will not thread into the new pump's fan-mount hub, so plan accordingly when you reinstall your fan.

Several versions of this pump exist for the N-Series, and the differences relate to items such as distributor mounting (front-mount versus side-mount on the 8N) and casting details. The best practice is to compare the new pump to your old pump before installation to confirm the correct version for your tractor and serial number.
