Ford Lower Air Cleaner Hose, C5NN9B640B
This is the lower air cleaner outlet hose for Ford thousand-series diesel tractors. It connects the bottom outlet of the dry-type air cleaner canister to the engine intake, carrying filtered air into the engine. The molded rubber hose uses a stepped bore, about 2-1/4 inch inside diameter at the air cleaner and 2 inch at the intake, so it seats tight against both fittings with standard hose clamps.
Fits
Ford 2000, 3000, and 4000 diesel tractors (thousand series, 1965 to 1974). This is the lower intake hose only. The larger 2600, 3600, and 4600 (600 series) use a different hose, so match your old hose and casting number before ordering.
Replaces
OEM casting C5NN9B640B. Compare the old hose to confirm the stepped 2-1/4 to 2 inch inside diameters before ordering.
