This aftermarket replacement power steering worm shaft (also called a steering shaft and ball nut assembly) Fits Ford and Fits New Holland tractors equipped with the early-style power steering system featuring the hydraulic cylinder mounted in the front support, under the radiator. The shaft features a left-hand (LH) spiral worm and measures approximately 28-13/16 inches in length. This is the correct shaft for tractors built from January 1965 through August 1970 -- after August 1970, Fits Ford redesigned the power steering system to move the cylinder inside the steering column, requiring a different shaft. Verify your tractor uses the early front-support cylinder configuration before ordering.
