This pack of ten (10) Grade 5 shear bolts with lock nuts fits John Deere flywheel-driven square balers. Shear bolts are a critical consumable component engineered to break at a precise load, protecting the baler flywheel and drivetrain from damage caused by plugging or obstructions. Note: On John Deere 14T (s/n 32868 and up) and 214 balers, this bolt is for power take-off (PTO) driven models only -- engine-driven models require a different part number. Do not substitute a higher-strength bolt, as machine damage can result.
