One New Aftermarket Replacement Bump Head Knob for Bolens, MTD, Troy-Bilt, and Compatible String Trimmers
This replacement bump head knob (also called a bump cap, bump cover, or spool cover) mounts to the bottom of your string trimmer's cutting head. When tapped against the ground while the spool spins, it releases additional trimmer line automatically. With a solid top construction and 5/16"-18 right-hand thread, this knob screws directly onto the trimmer head shaft with no tools required. It is a direct replacement for worn, cracked, or missing bump knobs on a wide range of MTD-family gas string trimmers.
