This is the Silky Hayauchi 2-extension telescoping pole saw kit (model 178-39), a professional-grade aluminum pole saw designed for high-reach pruning and trimming in arborist, forestry, and lawn and garden applications. The kit includes three poles/sections and extends to 16 feet, with a maximum working reach of approximately 21 feet - ideal for cutting high branches without a ladder. The lightweight oval-section aluminum alloy extension poles provide strength and rigidity while minimizing flex, and dual locking mechanisms (push-button pins and friction clamps) secure the poles firmly at any extension length. The 390 mm curved blade uses Silky's 4-RETSUME four-row tooth geometry for fast, aggressive cutting through thick branches. The blade is adjustable to two angles for lower or higher cutting and features an upper sickle for cutting vines and a lower sickle for undercutting bark, enabling clean cuts without tearing. The base pole includes a rubberized over-grip and a pole-end shock absorber for control and durability. A protective blade cover/scabbard is included.
