Order by platform width and platform type
A sickle is one part number per platform width, so the 30 foot knife suits a 30 foot platform and nothing else. A 25 foot platform takes AH121221 at 314 inches, and the 18 and 20 foot platforms take their own numbers again. Three exclusions are worth stating plainly. A draper platform such as the 930D uses a different knife entirely and is the most likely wrong order on this part. The 600 series platforms, including the 630 and 635, are built around four inch sections rather than three inch and use a different knife construction. And the rigid and flex builds are worth confirming with your own platform records before you commit to a full length knife. On the coarse versus fine choice, coarse sections can cause flagging in dry straw at high ground speed, so a small grain, lentil or flax operation is usually better served by the fine sickle.
