One New Aftermarket Replacement Heavy Duty 16-Tooth Starter Fits Briggs and Stratton Twin Cylinder Engines
This heavy duty aftermarket replacement electric starter motor is designed Fits Briggs and Stratton (B&S) opposed twin cylinder engines ranging from 14 HP to 18 HP. The starter mounts to the engine block using three unthreaded mounting ears and drives a 16-tooth pinion gear counterclockwise to engage the flywheel ring gear. It also serves as a direct replacement for the Fits John Deere AM38984 starter used on 116 and 116H lawn tractors.
