This 12-volt Delco-style starter motor is a direct-fit aftermarket replacement for John Deere large-frame tractors and equipment. It mounts to the engine in the original Delco 42MT/39MT configuration with clockwise rotation and a 12-tooth pinion drive, providing reliable cold and hot cranking across John Deere's 9 Series row-crop and scraper-special tractors as well as select earlier models.
