This aftermarket replacement piston ring set (A-PR181-AI) is designed Fits Ford tractors equipped with the 172 CID four-cylinder diesel engine and 5-ring style pistons at standard 3.90" bore. Piston rings seal combustion gases, control oil consumption, and transfer heat from the piston to the cylinder wall -- making them a critical component during any engine rebuild or overhaul.
