This HC-M-BSPP series male BSP parallel pipe fitting is a rigid, straight hose end designed for use in hydraulic hose assemblies on agricultural, construction, and industrial equipment. It connects a 3/8" (-06) hose to a 1/2" BSPP male threaded port. BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) threads feature a 55-degree thread flank angle and use a bonded seal or O-ring to achieve a pressure-tight connection at the face of the port - they are parallel (straight) threads, not tapered, and are not interchangeable with NPT fittings.
