This governor/oil slinger is a combined crankcase component that distributes oil throughout the engine while simultaneously driving the mechanical governor to regulate engine speed. Mounted on the camshaft inside the crankcase, it controls oil flow to reduce friction and heat, helping extend engine life in lawn and garden power equipment.
