One New Aftermarket Replacement Self-Locking Shear Pin for Murray / Fits Craftsman Snow Blowers
This self-locking shear pin connects the auger to the rotating drive shaft on Murray and Fits Craftsman two-stage snow blowers. It is designed to shear off under excessive load -- such as when the auger strikes ice, rocks, or hard-packed snow -- protecting the transmission and motor from costly damage. The self-locking design replaces the older separate shear bolt and lock nut combination found on earlier models.
