This aftermarket replacement pump diaphragm spring fits the fuel pump assembly on a wide range of Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton (B&S) small engines used in lawn mowers, lawn tractors, generators, and other outdoor power equipment. The spring seats against the spring cap inside the diaphragm-type fuel pump, maintaining the correct tension needed to regulate fuel flow to the carburetor. Over time the spring can fatigue, bend, or break, causing fuel delivery problems and rough engine operation. Sold individually.
