This rewind starter housing (also called a recoil starter housing) encloses and supports the recoil starter mechanism on Fits Briggs and Stratton small engines used in lawn and garden equipment. When the starter rope is pulled, the housing engages the flywheel to crank the engine. Replaces OEM part numbers 691568, 808186, and 808086 (691568 supersedes 808186 and 808086).
