This aftermarket replacement thermal relief valve fits select Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton, Brute, Troy-Bilt, and Fits Craftsman pressure washers. The valve is a safety device installed in the pressure washer pump that opens and releases hot water when the water temperature inside the pump rises too high - protecting pump seals and internal components from heat damage. It is designed for use when the pump runs in bypass mode without water being discharged through the spray wand.
