This aftermarket replacement 42-inch deck housing kit (replaces OEM part number 1687779YP) is the complete mower deck shell for Snapper, Simplicity, and Murray lawn tractors and zero-turn mowers equipped with a 42-inch cutting deck. The deck housing encloses and protects the cutting blades, directing airflow for a clean, even cut. This part supersedes the earlier OEM number 1736504DYP and 1736504D, which are no longer available.
