One New Aftermarket Replacement Jackshaft Housing and Bearing for Murray (Fits Briggs and Stratton) Riding Mowers
This aftermarket replacement jackshaft housing and bearing assembly -- also known as a mandrel housing or spindle housing -- mounts to the cutting deck of Murray riding lawn tractors and supports the jackshaft that drives the mower blades. The housing encloses the upper and lower bearings that allow the jackshaft to spin freely, transmitting power from the deck belt to the blade. Worn or cracked jackshaft housings cause excessive vibration, bearing noise, and poor blade engagement. The housing mounts to the deck with self-tapping bolts; note that mounting holes are not pre-threaded.
