One New Aftermarket Replacement 1/4 in. Square Key for Murray Lawn Tractors and Riding Mowers
This 1/4 inch (0.25 in.) square key is a small but essential drivetrain hardware component used on Murray riding lawn tractors and garden tractors. Square keys are inserted between a shaft and a hub -- most commonly the rear axle and rear wheel hub -- to prevent relative rotation and lock the wheel securely to the axle. A worn, damaged, or missing square key will cause the wheel to spin freely on the axle, resulting in loss of drive.
