This 2-prong low plate is a sickle assembly component used with the 049270 guard (also fits with 823025C1 guard) on the cutterbar of Case/International Harvester (Case IH) and Hesston swathers, windrowers, and mower conditioners. The low plate retains the sickle section and works in conjunction with the guard to guide crop into the cutting zone for clean, consistent hay cutting.
