One New Aftermarket Replacement 1/4-20 Toplock Locknut (All-Metal Prevailing Torque)
This 1/4-20 UNC Toplock nut is an all-metal prevailing torque locknut designed to resist loosening caused by vibration, shock, and dynamic loads. The distinctive conical top features distorted or deflected threads that create a frictional locking action against the mating bolt without the use of a nylon insert -- making it suitable for higher-temperature environments where nylon insert nuts are not appropriate. Also known as a Conelock, Stover, Crownlock, or Autolock nut, the Toplock style is widely used in agricultural equipment, automotive, and industrial assembly applications.
