One New Aftermarket Replacement Top Piston Ring for Caterpillar (Cat) 3304 and 3306 Engines
This aftermarket replacement top (compression) piston ring fits Caterpillar 3304, 3304B, and 3306 diesel engines used across a wide range of Cat construction machines, motor graders, track-type tractors, skidders, and generator sets. The top ring seats in the uppermost ring groove of the piston and is a critical engine component for maintaining compression, controlling combustion gases, and transferring heat from the piston to the cylinder wall. It is also sold under Caterpillar OEM part numbers 7S8378 and 1P0236 and is a direct replacement for all of those numbers.
