This aftermarket replacement distributor cap Fits Ford 9N, 2N, and early 8N tractors equipped with a front mount distributor -- the configuration where the distributor is mounted directly under the fan blade and water pump, with the generator or alternator mounted on the right side as viewed from the operator seat. Replaces OEM part number 9N12106C. Fits 8N tractors up to serial number 263843 only; later 8N tractors used a side mount distributor and require a different cap.
