This aftermarket replacement base alternator mounting bracket is used in generator-to-alternator conversion on Fits Ford (Fits Ford New Holland) N-Series tractors. It mounts to the engine block and provides the structural base needed to install a modern alternator in place of the original generator. Designed specifically Fits Ford 8N tractors equipped with the side-mount distributor (serial number 263844 and up, 1950-1952), and also compatible with the 2N and 9N models.
