This upper spindle bushing is a front axle steering component that supports the spindle kingpin at the top of the axle housing on Fits Allis-Chalmers tractors. On D21, 210, and 220 models, this bushing serves as both the upper and lower spindle bushing (2 per spindle, 4 per tractor). On 7000 and 8000 series models, it is the upper spindle bushing only (1 per spindle, 2 per tractor). Worn or loose spindle bushings cause front wheel play and sloppy steering -- replacing them restores proper front end alignment and handling.
