This aftermarket replacement planetary sun gear (spur pinion, also identified as a spur gear) fits Rockwell and AxleTech planetary axle assemblies used across a wide range of heavy construction, off-highway, and on-highway equipment. The sun gear is a core drivetrain component in the planetary hub reduction system, transmitting torque from the axle shaft outward through the planet gears.
