One New Aftermarket Replacement Cylinder Liner Sealing Ring Fits International Harvester / Fits Case IH Tractors
This cylinder liner sealing ring (O-ring) seals the base of the wet cylinder sleeve against coolant and combustion gas leakage. It is used during engine rebuilds and overhaul work on Fits International Harvester and Fits Case IH tractors equipped with D-series diesel engines. Identified by red dots and measuring approximately 0.195 in. thick, this ring is the correct seal for early-serial-number applications on certain models -- see serial number notes below.
Serial Number Restrictions
Important: Several models use two different liner O-rings depending on engine serial number. Verify your engine serial number before ordering:
- IH 684: use 3228344R1 up to engine S/N D475,097 (early); use 3228348R1 from S/N D475,097 (late)
- IH 544, 574, 664, 674: use 3228344R1 up to engine S/N 103,204; use 3228348R1 from S/N 103,204
