This friction disc is a steering clutch system component used in Caterpillar large track-type dozers. It is part of the Clutch and Brake Group - Steering assembly and provides the frictional interface needed for clutch engagement and directional control. The disc replaces OEM part number 2559267 (also formatted as 255-9267) and interchanges with Caterpillar part number 8P8360.
