One New Aftermarket Replacement Ripper Shank Adapter for Caterpillar (Cat) Track-Type Tractors
This ripper shank adapter (1U3630 / 1U-3630) is a ground-engaging tool component that mounts to the nose of a Caterpillar R500 series ripper shank on large track-type tractors and bulldozers. It is designed as an up-sized replacement for the standard 4T8315 adapter, providing improved resistance to tip failure and adapter cracking in severe ripping applications. The 1U3630 is welded onto existing 76.2 x 330.2 mm (3.0 x 13 in) and 88.9 x 355.6 mm (3.5 x 14 in) ripper shanks. Note: installation requires removal of the old adapter and welding the new adapter onto the shank. Confirm your shank series and serial number before ordering.
