One New Aftermarket Replacement Piston Pin Retainer for Caterpillar (Cat) C13 Engines
This aftermarket replacement piston pin retainer (also called a wrist pin retainer or piston pin clip) secures the piston pin within the piston bore of the Caterpillar C13 diesel engine. Two retainers are used per piston (12 per complete 6-cylinder engine) to prevent lateral movement of the piston pin during engine operation. This part is commonly replaced during piston kit installation, inframe overhauls, and out-of-frame rebuilds on C13-powered equipment.
