This aftermarket replacement Cartridge GP-Turbocharger (part number 1906223) is the center housing rotating assembly (CHRA) for the turbocharger used in Caterpillar equipment powered by the 3196, C-12, and related engines. The turbocharger cartridge contains the bearings and oil seals at the core of the turbo assembly -- the components most susceptible to wear and failure. Replacing the cartridge restores turbo performance without replacing the entire turbocharger housing.
