This aftermarket replacement Pad Assembly (1873826) is an extendable stick wear pad for Caterpillar (Cat) backhoe loaders equipped with an E-stick (extendable stick). The wear pad mounts on the outer sliding structure of the extendable stick and reduces friction and play between the inner and outer stick members. As pads wear from normal use, side-to-side and vertical movement increases -- replacing this pad restores tight, precise stick movement and protects the E-stick from accelerated wear. The Cat parts store identifies this as a 15mm thick extendable stick pad.
