One New Aftermarket Replacement Seal As-Buffer for Caterpillar (Cat) Construction Equipment

This aftermarket buffer seal assembly replaces Caterpillar OEM part number 1672204 and is used in hydraulic cylinder assemblies on Cat construction and earthmoving equipment. Buffer seals are installed in the rod sealing system of hydraulic cylinders, where they absorb pressure spikes and reduce impact loads to protect the primary rod seals from shock loads and fluctuating pressures, extending the life of the entire hydraulic sealing system.
