This urethane buffer seal (Seal Assembly - Buffer) installs in Fits Caterpillar (Fits CAT) hydraulic cylinders, where it absorbs shock loads and pressure spikes to protect the primary sealing system. The hinged-lip design reduces friction, heat, and wear under low-pressure conditions and acts as a check valve allowing back-pressure relief, extending the service life of the entire cylinder seal assembly.
