This aftermarket replacement left-hand (LH) tie rod group is a critical steering system component on Caterpillar M-series wheeled excavators. The tie rod connects the steering linkage to the front axle assembly, maintaining proper wheel alignment and directional control during travel and operation. Note: this is the left-hand tie rod only. The right-hand tie rod is a separate part (1642658).
