This wear strip (Strip-Wear) mounts at the front position on the left and right sides of the main frame on Caterpillar (Cat) track-type dozers. At 16mm thick, it protects the frame rails from abrasive contact during dozing operations, reducing costly frame wear. A routine maintenance wear item on D6R and D6T series machines.
