One New Aftermarket Replacement Ring-Backup for Caterpillar (Cat) Excavators and Mobile Hydraulic Power Units
This PTFE backup ring (Cat part 126-4004) is used in the hydraulic travel motor assembly on large Caterpillar excavators and mobile hydraulic power units. Backup rings work in tandem with O-rings to prevent seal extrusion under high hydraulic pressure, maintaining fluid integrity and extending the service life of the hydraulic system.
